What is the wastage allowance?

Across any delivery area, a proportion of addresses cannot be reached due to No Junk Mail signs, unsafe or inaccessible properties, aggressive animals, or other legitimate on-the-ground constraints. The industry-standard allowance for this is approximately 5-10% of total addresses in a given area. This means a campaign covering 10,000 households should be planned with the expectation that around 500 - 1000 addresses may be legitimately undeliverable. These are logged by the distributor using the recording function in the app and are visible in your campaign report. Your payment is not adjusted upward to compensate for this - it is an acknowledged feature of door-to-door distribution that is factored into campaign planning.
