How do I use the letterbox counting tool?
The tool is accessible during campaign setup and when creating a service area. There are three ways to define your target area on the map. You can draw a freehand polygon around the streets you want to cover, drop a radius circle from a central point to capture everything within a set distance, or browse and select individual postcode sectors from the list on the right-hand panel - which automatically highlights the corresponding areas on the map. These methods can be used in combination: draw a polygon or radius to identify the relevant postcode sectors visually, then refine your selection by ticking or unticking sectors individually from the list. Once your area is defined, the tool returns an estimated letterbox count for the selected sectors. This figure helps you order the correct volume of leaflets and cross-check it against the proposals you receive. It is an estimate based on available address data and should be treated as a planning guide rather than a precise figure - your distributor will confirm the final count as part of their proposal.
